It incorporates non-volatile flash memory technology, so it does not require a battery to preserve the recording made. It allows us to record and reproduce a single message up to 10 seconds long, with a sampling frequency of 6.4 KHz, which, for a small electronic circuit, measuring only 46x34 mm, is not negligible. It also has a switch that allows us to choose between 2 functions: repeat and megaphone. If we choose the "Repeat" function, the circuit will repeat the message cyclically, and if instead we choose the second option, the megaphone, then it will pick up the sounds of the microphone, and if we speak directly above the electret micro of the circuit, it will act like a classic megaphone. In this new version, the Cebek C-9701 is supplied with a small 2-inch speaker and another of the novelties is that it uses an ISD 1820 microprocessor, which already marks us a line of quality and clear innovation in this new voice recorder. Circuit power goes from 3 to 5 Vdc and has a consumption of 60 milli A in operation, and only about 10 milli-amps, when we leave it in standby. It incorporates an electret microphone on the same board, as in its previous version and due to its low operating consumption, we can power it with only 2 AA 1.5V batteries. In the circuit, 2 switches are incorporated, which allow us to choose the desired function (normal, repeat or megaphone), and 3 buttons are also included to activate the recording, which allow us to be able to record the message, or decide what type of reproduction we want to hear either total (PLAY E), or we want to hear the recording while (PLAY L) is being pressed.
