The HCNW2601-300E is an 8-pin, 1-channel optically coupled, surface mount digital gate optocoupler that combines a GaAsP light-emitting diode and an integrated high-gain photodetector. An enable input allows strobe operation of the detector. The output of the detector circuit is an open collector Schottky limited transistor. The internal shield provides a guaranteed common mode transient immunity specification of 15000V/µs at Vcm=1000V. This unique design provides maximum AC and DC circuit isolation while achieving TTL compatibility. The AC and DC operational parameters of the optocoupler are guaranteed from -40 to 85°C, allowing trouble-free system performance. It is suitable for high-speed logic interfacing, input/output buffering, as a line receiver in environments that conventional line receivers cannot tolerate, and is recommended for use in environments with extremely high value ground or induced noise.
