MC7815BD2TR4G LINEAR VOLTAGE REG, 1A, 15V, TO-263-3

The MC7815BD2TR4G is a monolithic positive voltage regulator with a minimum voltage of 15V. It is designed as a fixed positive voltage regulator for a wide variety of applications including local and card regulation. This regulator employs internal current limiting, thermal trip, and safe area compensation. With proper heat dissipation, it can provide output currents greater than 1A. Although primarily designed to function as a linear voltage regulator, this device can be used with external components to obtain adjustable voltages and currents. No external components required.
